Installation & Maintenance
Full installation instructions will be supplied upon confirmation of order which specifies the fixing pattern that needs to be drilled on site during installation and the type of fasteners required.
The installation guidelines have been developed to ensure the installation of the Heka Hood meets the suitability requirements. It is the customers sole responsibility to ensure the structural integrity of the substructure for connection of the hoods, and the site-specific wind rating. The installation instructions do not relieve the buyer and/or installer to use their professional due care and responsibility when installing the product.
The Express by Heka Hoods product range is not suitable in cyclonic regions and installation to brickwork is not acceptable.

IMPORTANT TO NOTE
Waterproofing
Heka Hoods are not a replacement for the window flashing and are not to be used as a waterproofing system. Heka Hoods require minimal maintenance, being a powder coated product, however it is recommended that the hoods are cleaned regularly with warm soapy water.
