The name EXPRESS by Heka Hoods was carefully crafted out of our commitment to meeting the ever-evolving needs of our clients while staying true to our core values.
EXPRESS encapsulates a dual purpose: it signifies expression - a conduit for our clients’ visions and a reflection of beautiful design lines, and secondly indicates fast, ready-made solutions.
As a leader in architectural sun hood design and manufacturing, we’ve always thrived on mass customisation. However, with EXPRESS we’re capturing the convenience and speed that the ready-made product range delivers. We recognised that in today's fast-paced world, the ability to access high-quality sun hood solutions quickly, without compromising on design, is valuable.
The inclusion of "Heka" connects our brand to the deeper values we uphold. Inspired by the Egyptian god of magic and creation, Heka symbolises the transformative power we bring to our designs and vision to make the world a more beautiful place.

Express by Heka Hoods features Core Series depths:
HH300 (300mm) Depth Sunhood
HH450 (450mm) Depth Sunhood
HH600 (600mm) Depth Sunhood
in two standard straight lengths of 1200mm and 2400mm.
Continuous connection of 3600mm, 4800mm, 7200mm from the two standard lengths is achievable with Heka Hoods unique joining system.

Suitability & Technical Information
The suitability and installation for Express by Heka Hoods is limited, and prior to purchase it is the customers sole responsibility to ensure the structural integrity of the substructure for connection of the hoods, and the site-specific wind rating.
Designed and manufactured in accordance with AS1170.2, Region A and B (equivalent to AS4055 – N1, N2, N3) Heka Hoods are suitable for most sites in Australia, when installed as per our installation guidelines.
The suitability of the Express by Heka Hoods product range is restricted to specific wind classifications and the availability of a sufficient structural member(s) to attach the hood(s).
The Express by Heka Hoods product range is not suitable in cyclonic regions and installation to brickwork is not acceptable.
